@Zenarium It's a decent mobile game but what's the point of it? It feels unfinished and unpolished. It's full of microtransactions and literally not worth ones time when they're plenty of FULL games to enjoy. If you want Nintendo mobile gaming experience you may stick to Super Mario RUN.
@TheCurator I was playing New Leaf with a friend today. You have a lot more to do in that game. But I still enjoy playing Pocket Camp and I will do that later. For me Pocket Camp is the game I want to play when I am waiting for something, or the game I play while watching my favourite streamers. I don't spend more than 20 minutes there per day, but doing very simple tasks while listening to the game's music is very relaxing and I enjoy the idea of having Animal Crossing in my pocket.
@Zenarium I understand. But personally when I watch series or movies or anything like that I focus only on that. I manage my gametime and lifetime. It's just not my type of game this one.

@TheCurator Did you ever play any console release of Animal Crossing? Animal Crossing doesn't have a quest line, you don't exactly have an objective. What I like the most in AC is to hang out with friends, even it that is just taking fun screenshots together. Pocket Camp doesn't have that multiplayer aspect, I can visit other people's camps but never interact with them live, just a NPC representing them. That is my main complain with Pocket Camp but I don't worry too much about it because as I told you, it's a game I enjoy playing between other things of my life. I understand your statement, like everything else in life, this game isn't for everyone (except water and pizza, that's for everyone ) .
New at this but ...Love animal crossing games, today on animal crossing pocket camp, after much dedication and work, at ok motors brake trapper, received the Giovanni golden statue, my profile picture show's my character next it wearing the ok motors cap and shirt as well. This requires friendship powder, which is mostly achieved by watering friends plants so takes awhile, which to obtain the 10,000 caps to redeem, and much patience, as it is sort of a slot machine. If I'm at wrong place to post achievements, please reply with where to post them, Thank you.
Got an email from Nintendo.
Apparently free to play AC Poket Camp will be discontinued November 28th. There will be a paid offline version coming at a later date.
Kind of interesting.
(Btw I was kind of worried at first becaue I just read the title of that mail, that something will be discontinued. But it was just Poket Camp 😂)
I haven’t played Pocket Camp in years, but it is a bit surprising they are shutting servers down in a few months. I hadn’t ever heard anyone talking about the game, plus it sounds like updates for the game were slowing down. However, it is nice to hear that they are releasing an offline version that will carry over user data.
Though, I am a bit worried about what approach they’ll take for Fire Emblem Heroes when that eventually closes one day, cuz compared to Pocket Camp I made way more progress on that one and have a ton of characters, and I even spent a bit of money (albeit only $10) on it. Hopefully they do the same approach for that when it happens because all my progress and time will go down the drain.

I just started playing a couple days ago, I guess to get a head start on the Complete release and maybe unlock some exclusive items if that's the case. I'm playing on Android. Anyway, my game is restarting when I relaunch it. Maybe not every time. But for example I just minimized it for maybe half an hour, then opened it again, and it loaded from scratch. Is this common or is there a setting I need to adjust?
@Gryffin That might depend on what your device is, I got a new phone earlier this year and it doesn't seem to restart when I don't close the game and just leave it on standby on the app select screen. That does seem to be normal though, I vaguely remember that same thing happening to me on my previous phone. This is all my guess, I haven't played Pocket Camp for years until recently. I'm also an Android user, by the way.

@MarioVillager92 thank you. We'll see what happens with Complete. My current issue is that my inventory is full and I can't collect everything from the mailbox. I've got 50 natural essence waiting for me. So I figured I'd craft things that require natural essence to cut down on the ones I already have. The only way I can find to know though is to filter the crafting screen to natural items. But even then, not everything requires natural essence, so I guess there's no good way to filter craftable items by required materials?
@Gryffin Hmm, I don't know... I don't recall seeing a filter that sorts by crafting materials. I think you can filter your acquired furniture by series, that might help out a bit. But yeah, try to see if there's any natural items you can craft, and then claim your natural essence from the mailbox.

Bought the complete edition since it was cheap on sale (about 5 dollars in my local currency). I could swear I had played the original version a little bit years ago, but it seems there was no data to transfer so I started fresh.
I’m enjoying it so far, it’s truly like a pocket animal crossing and it’s a very welcome addition to repertoire of entertainment on my tablet; but it’s like, a bit overwhelming. I do suppose there’s seven years worth of content stockpiled and demanding my attention all at once. Hopefully things will settle down and I’ll get used to the overload of stuff.
